recall

Make Sure you check your Twinkies then share this with your friends.

Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. RECALL ALERT – RUN & Checl Your Cat Food – Cat Food Recall for Low Thiamine Causing Serious Issues in Your Pet

recall

RUN AND CHECK YOUR CATS FOOD!! DO NOT FEED THIS TO THEM

The J.M. Smucker Company today announced a limited voluntary recall on certain lots of 9LivesTM, EverPetTM, and Special KittyTM canned cat food due to possible low levels of thiamine (Vitamin B1).

The issue was discovered by the Quality Assurance team during review of production records at the manufacturing facility. No illnesses related to this issue have been reported to date and the product is being recalled out of an abundance of caution.

Cats fed diets low in thiamine for several weeks may be at risk for developing a thiamine deficiency. Thiamine is essential for cats. Symptoms of deficiency displayed by an affected cat can be gastrointestinal or neurological in nature. Early signs of thiamine deficiency may include decreased appetite, salivation, vomiting, and weight loss. In advanced cases, neurological signs can develop, which include ventroflexion (bending towards the floor) of the neck, wobbly walking, circling, falling, and seizures. Contact your veterinarian immediately if your cat is displaying any of these symptoms. If treated promptly, thiamine deficiency is typically reversible.

The affected product was distributed to a limited number of retail customers from December 20 through January 3, 2017.

Here are the affected products:

cat-food-recall

No other products of The J.M. Smucker Company are affected by this recall.

Consumers who have cans of cat food from the impacted lots should stop feeding it to their cats and call us at 1-800-828-9980 Monday through Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST or contact us at consumer.relations@jmsmucker.com.

Looks like we have another recall alert this one comes from Tyson

screenshot

Tyson Foods is recalling approximately 132,520 pounds of fully cooked chicken nuggets that may be contaminated with hard plastic.

The fully cooked Panko Chicken Nuggets items were produced on July 18, 2016. The following products are subject to recall:

  • 5-lb. bag containing “Tyson FULLY COOKED PANKO CHICKEN NUGGETS” with a “Best If Used By” date of July 18, 2017 and case code 2006SDL03 and 2006SDL33.
  • 20-lb. bulk packages containing “SPARE TIME Fully Cooked, Panko Chicken Nuggets, Nugget Shaped Chicken Breast Pattie Fritters With Rib Meat” with a production date of July 18, 2016 and case code 2006SDL03.

The products subject to recall have the establishment number “EST. 13556” printed next to the “Best If Used By” date on the back of the package. The 20-pound cases were shipped for institutional use in Pennsylvania and the five-pound bags were shipped to retail locations nationally.

The problem was discovered after the Tyson received consumer complaints regarding foreign material contamination of chicken nugget products. According to Tyson Foods, the plastic material ranged in size from 21mm in length and 6.5mm in diameter and may have come from a round, hard plastic rod used to connect a plastic transfer belt. They said the products pass through a metal detector, but the plastic is not detectable to this technology.

There have been no confirmed injuries or illnesses from eating the nuggets.

If you have purchased these products you are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase

STOP DON’T Eat That Cookie Dough Before You Read This About This Flour Recall! |#deals #couponing #couponfamily #couponcommunity #coupondeals #linlinsavesyoumoney

WOW! This is a concerning issue! You could get extremely ill from this flour!

Capture

General Mills has recalled several types of flour due to E. coli illnesses the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have linked to eating uncooked dough and batter made with raw flour.

Health officials are puzzled about how the most basic baking ingredient – flour – became contaminated with bacteria normally found in animal feces.

The tainted flour has sickened 46 people in 21 states and prompted the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to warn cooks to treat it like other foods that could cross-contaminate kitchen surfaces.

Plus, the Food and Drug Administration is cautioning consumers to never taste raw cookie dough or cake batter.

Testing points to flour produced at the General Mills facility in Kansas City, Missouri.

The company, which has recalled 45 million pounds of flour, says it does not believe the plant is the source of the bacteria.

All products included in this recall are listed below.

Illnesses have NOT come from properly baked or cooked flour.

Remember
Do not eat uncooked dough or batter made with raw flour. Flour is made from wheat that is grown outdoors where bacteria are often present. Flour is typically not treated to kill bacteria during the normal milling process.

Actions you should take

  1. Do not eat or taste dough or batter made with raw flour.
  2. Properly cook or bake food made with flour. Bacteria (such as E. coli) that might be found in the raw flour will be eliminated.
  3. Check your pantry and throw away any products that match the recalled products listed below. If possible, save the product name, UPC (bar code) and Better if Used By Date to help our Consumer Relations team assist you with a replacement coupon. If you no longer have the flour package or have any doubts, throw away the flour.
  4. If you have any questions about this recall or need a replacement coupon for any product included in this recall, complete this form or call our Consumer Relations team at 1-800-230-8103.

~~RECALL ALERT~~ PLEASE SHARE You Could Prevent a Child’s Death!#recall #IKEA #Savealife #linlinsavesyoumoney

OVER 29 Million Dressers and Chests Recalled by IKEA!

Please read this information you could save your childs life then SHARE to save a friends Child’s life!

screenshot

IKEA is voluntarily recalling at least 29 million chests and dressers that can easily tip over onto children and do not meet the performance requirements of the U.S. voluntary industry standard (ASTM F2057-14). You can contact IKEA at 1-866-856-4532 or email: securit@ikea.com to discuss how to participate in the recal

The furniture giant said Monday that after the three deaths of three children it is no longer selling its “Malm” series products because they “could be a danger,” Ikea USA president Lars Peterson told NBC News.

The recall affects children’s chests and dressers taller than 23.5 inches and adult chests and dressers taller than 29.5 inches that do not meet the performance requirements of the U.S. voluntary industry standard. The recalled MALM chests and dressers were manufactured and sold through June 2016 and include the 3-drawer, 4-drawer, 5-drawer and 6-drawer models. Other IKEA chests and dressers in this recall were sold at various times through June 2016.
Participating consumers can receive a full or partial refund or afree wall-anchoring repair kit.
Please immediately stop using any recalled chest or dresser that is not properly anchored to the wall and place in an area not accessible to children.

For a list of chests and dressers affected by this recall, please click here.

Customers are eligible for a free repair kit HERE to anchor the furniture to a wall. Refunds will also be offered.

You can Read the Tweet they released HERE

In a statement to NBC News, Ikea said it issued the recall despite the anchor campaign, which resulted in the company sending out 300,000 kits, not near the amount of dressers they placed on recall.

“It is clear that there are still unsecured products in customers’ homes,” the statement says. “We believe that taking further action is the right thing to do.”

Alan Feldman, an attorney who represents the families of all three toddlers, said in a statement: “We applaud the CPSC for taking a tough stand in support of consumer product safety by demanding that IKEA take concrete action to get these defective dressers off the market, or at least to make sure that whenever possible, the dressers are secured to a wall. It should not have taken repeated injuries and deaths over many years before IKEA finally responded to the potential hazard it placed in millions of American homes.”
